Policy Brief: Health Literacy and Digital Health Literacy as Key Drivers of Health Transformation

The CURTAIN Project is happy to endorse this Policy Brief: Health Literacy and Digital Health Literacy as Key Drivers of Health Transformation by the iNTERVENE Project.

This policy brief stems from a recent roundtable discussion organised by the iNTERVENE project. The event brought together representatives from several key initiatives, including eCAN Plus JA, CAREWAY, TRANSiTION, EUCanScreen, and CURTAIN. The discussion was facilitated by two members of the EU Cancer Mission and the coordinator of the iNTERVENE project.

The brief underscores the importance of health literacy, examines current challenges and ongoing initiatives, and presents actionable recommendations to strengthen health literacy across healthcare systems. By improving health literacy, individuals are better equipped to navigate complex healthcare pathways, make informed decisions, and ultimately achieve better health outcomes.
